The film was critically acclaimed and she received the Golden Globe Award as Best actress for the genre of Motion Picture, Comedy or Musical. Zegler's other roles include playing Snow White in Disney live-action remake of 1937's animated film. Rachel Zegler grew up in Hackensack (New Jersey) with the parents Craig and Gina. Her parents are of Colombian origin on her mother's on her side, and also with Polish ancestry on her father s side. Zegler has a younger sister known as Jacqueline. Zegler was raised in Clifton, NJ and went to St. Philip the Apostle Preparatory school. Immaculate Conception High School in New Jersey is a Roman Catholic girls-only college prep school. Zegler was a part of many musicals including Beauty and the Beast The Little Mermaid and 42nd Street. She played Cosette and Millie and Millie in Les Miserables, as well as Thoroughly Modern Millie. Zegler graduated from Immaculate Conception High School.
